It's almost time! The weekly markets start on June 6th - and with the spring we've had, everything is early. We'll have loads of luscious greens and veggies from our regular growers (Berndette, Echo Valley Farm, Fickle Fig, Stonefields), an outstanding variety of baking from the best bakers (Flour Power, John Markham with hand-milled spelt bread, the decadent treats from the St. John's table, and breads and pain au chocolate from WillowTree Bread); and the coolest crafters (Fabulous Frocks, Lloyd's garden cedar products, sparkling jewelry, and a very talented new wood turner, Rick Bailey of Raincoast Woodturnings). And, of course, STRAWBERRIES! The big news is that we're going to be welcoming several local wineries to the market this summer, starting with SYMPHONY VINEYARD at our first market.
